Spring is here.

Visiting New York as the seasons change is always inspiring to us. In addition to the fabulous selection of theatre and performances like no place else in the world, the city itself is a stage. We find new ideas everywhere, from set design and lighting, retail window displays and public gathering areas such as the Metropolitan Museum, restaurants and stores. The streets themselves, especially in spring, are unique landscapes with the widest range of people and styles seen anywhere. This time of year the trees are ablaze with blossoms and the tulips fill the gardens along Park Avenue and in squares, like the east side of The Plaza Hotel, are a show unto themselves. It is an experience not to be missed.
We spent one afternoon visiting our friend Mario Bosquez who hosts “Living Today” on Martha Stewart Living Radio. We talked on air about summer entertaining and new trends in floral design. Mario is a charming host who asks pertinent questions and has great ideas of his own and an obvious flair for entertaining.
