A Bamboo Jungle In The Heart of New York City.

July 14, 2010

At Mark’s Garden we create some pretty elaborate structures of art for our events, so we had to see the Big Bambu installation in progress throughout the summer on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  At 50’ high and 100’ long, it is an incredible inspiration.

Of course the view from the roof garden is in itself spectacularly inspiring.

One of the floral arrangements in the Met foyer.  We are always fascinated by the way they bring nature into the public spaces in New York.  The displays in the museum change seasonally and they are always worth a peek.  If only this were done more frequently in Los Angeles.
